This case has been modeled in detail after the Marantz WC-22 wood case. It features high-quality mdf construction (as was factory) and an upgraded heavy-duty (.06 thick) mesh. The mesh is clear coated versus painted black. The case is fully sealed prior to paint and is painted inside and out to ensure a stable, long-lasting finished product. Exterior (gloss) finishes are wet sanded to 2000 grit and buffed to a high-gloss, mirror finish.The WC-22 fits Marantz Models- 2215, 2220, 2220-B, 2225, 2230, 2240, 2245, 2250, 2270, 2275. 2440, 4230, 4240, 4270, 4415, 4430, 5020These gorgeous pieces are not mass produced.
